At Stanford, Dr. Zappert teaches the Clinical Neuroscience in Women's Health course to undergrads in the Human Biology department and directs the new Neuroscience in Women's Health Ph.D. tract.

As an Attending Psychologist and Director of Psychosocial Interventions of the Women's Wellness Clinic at Stanford, Dr. Zappert enjoys teaching residents and interns in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford.

Dr. Zappert's research interests include:

  • Balancing Personal and Professional Life
  • Women's Health and Wellness, including Eating Disorders, Perinatal Depression and Anxiety, Perimenopause and Menopausal Mood and Sexual Dysregulation
  • Recovering from Trauma, including Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault
